Email Auto-link in Business Contact Manager Intermittant

I create a new email to a contact using the 'New'-'Mail Message' option under
Business Contact History Items. The email apears in Sent Items but not in the
history items. Auto-linking has worked fine for the contact until now.
Manually linking the email back to the contact returns the error:
'BCM...could not complete your last action. Please try again'. Search and
link is equally unsuccessful. Problem now ocurs for multiple contacts. What
has gone wrong and how can I fix it?

What is the version of BCM that you are running? Also is Business Tools is
available? What is the nature of the account is it a POP or a HTTP account?

Can you also try creating a new data base and check if the issue occurs

Raul,

I am using Office Outlook 2003 with BCM Update SP2 (Part of Office 2003
Small Business Edition). There is a Business Tools menu option. It is a POP
account.

The issue is intermittant, some contacts are still working fine using
exactly the same method, and the contacts where it has stopped working have
worked in the past.

How would I go about creating a new database?

Thanks for the update.

To create a new data base you will first have to remove the existing data
base by going to file > data file management and remove BCM

Once this is done go to file > data file management > add > select BCM and
give a name for the data base this should create a new data base for you
