Office Enterprice 07 with BCM...
I have never had great luck with Email AutoLink, and I am not sure of why
most emails do not show up in history for a contact, but I have found one
example of a problem...I have done all the Email AutoLink for all folders and
emails in BCM.
1) any URL or help on maximizing AutoLink effectiveness would be appreciated.
2) specific issues where AutoLink Fails:
I have a client who says his email is (e-mail address removed), but when you
receive an email from him, it is from (e-mail address removed). You can send
him an email under either and he gets it. All replys are automatically to
(e-mail address removed), which is the email I have in his contact profile.
So, when he sends me a email as (e-mail address removed) it does not autolink.
I could put both emails in his contact, which would probably make both
autolink, but then sending him an email from outlook would send it to both
addresses (plus there is a bug in outlook doing it this way anyway) so he
would get two emails. Is there anyway to have multiple emails for autolink
purposes but not email purposes?
Any ideas?
