My question straddles Outllook, BCM and InfoPath - so I have also posted this
question to the InfoPath community.
I need to send an email blast to my client base in Outlook that will help me
populate fields in my Outlook, or Business Contact Manager; I have Office and
BCM 2007 (recently installed Office 2010 beta for which my copy of BCM does
not work).
What is the simplest method for the email to contain questions, such as
"What is your title," where the responder can answer and when the email comes
back, it automatically posts the answer into the proper Outlook or BCM
record?
I came across much talk online about InfoPath's ability to create "Forms"
which contain fields which can be linked to a database. Is this true?
Is an email created in InfoPath the way to accomplish collecting this data
and auto-posting the information to Outlook contacts?
Perhaps a template already exists in InfoPath for this? Seems like
something many people would have already wanted to do.
This might be the most important question I've ever asked on any forum…
Thank you in advance for your insight into how I should accomplish this.
