Email Collaboration Update Error

HI,
I'm having problems with email collaboration. When people respond
to the initial assignments, I try to update my project plan. Every
updates complains about constraints or dependancies being violated and
wont complete.

Having checked the plan, some of the tasks do not have date
constraints or dependant predecessors.

Has anybody else seen this problem or anything similar ?

On a related note, can you use email collaboration where the plan
contains links to another external (and unavailble) plan ?

Paul:

You have to take this error at face value. Constraints affect entire work
paths, not just single tasks. You need to look up and down the
predecessor/successor trail to find the cause of your problem.
