Email corruption with earlier word versions

I am using 2007 Office Suite. When I send email from my Word (.doc) to
earlier versons of Word like 2003, they cannot open and get a 'corrupted'
message.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

If you are sending it in Word2007 native format, they will get that message
unless they have installed the necessary converters. Word 2007 uses a
totally different file format.

You can change the format to save as Word 97 - 2003 compatible or the other
users can download the necessary converters from Microsoft Office site. The
converters are available for Word 2000 to Word2003 to import Word2007 native
file format.
