Email Count Missing - Bottom of Navigation Pane - Outlook 2003

Hello! The number of emails I had in my inbox (or whatever mailbox I was
working in) used to display at the bottom left hand corner of the screen
beneath the folder buttons. All of sudden it is no longer there and I can't
figure out how to get it back. Any ideas? Thank you!

See the second picture in this link. The email count "327" appears
underneath the folders. That is what I am referring to.
