Email delivery delayed or stopped via ActiveSync on Iphone

All,

A client of mine is having a peculiar issue. The users have IPhones and have
set up AS on their IPhones to sync with Exchange 2007. Calendar and contacts
synchronization is immediate, but emails lag behind by a few minutes. This
keeps getting worse until there are no email syncs until the IPhone is
rebooted.

We've installed all the latest updates everywhere, but this has not changed
the behavior.

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. If this is the wrong forum, please
direct me to the right forum.

I appreciate any help or suggestions.

We are having a similar problem, only reboot of the iphone doesnt correct the
problem. emails make it to the exchange 07 server from the iphone, then just
sit there waiting to be forwarded to the next smtp server. No errors, it just
never forwards the email so delivery fails.
