email disappears

My wife is experiencing a weird intermittant problem with email disappearing.

She's got Outlook 2003 - WinXP - ZoneAlarm Security Suite

She will receive an email see content in the viewing pane... but when she
opens the email the content is gone. Then when she closes the email it moves
to the deleted email folder.

THis is intermittant. Happens only with some email.

Any suggestions?
