Do you want to send each person an individual message? There are several
ways to do this - if you want to send an autopreply like message, set up a
rule and use "Run Rules Now" on the selected folder. If you want to collect
the addresses for later use, you need a addin that can add the addresses to
contacts.
See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm for some apps.

In addition to Diane's suggestion, you can also select all your Contacts
with CTRL-A and then click Actions>New Message to Contact.
