Environment: clients outlook 2003 SP1, Exchange Server 2000 SP4
I am experiencing problems with clients and syncing with the server who use
cache mode. Here is the Sync issue message:
23:51:12 Synchronizer Version 11.0.6352

23:51:12 Synchronizing Hierarchy
23:51:13 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
23:51:13 Downloading from server 'compw2ke2k01.Compsych-AD.int'
23:51:23 Error synchronizing folder
23:51:23 [80030070-501-80030070-560]
23:51:23 The client operation failed.
23:51:23 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

Now if the client was using cache mode during this time they will not
receive any emails but can send emails without any problems. Although if they
turn cache mode off and restart outlook the received emails from the past
appear. Oddly enough then if you turn cache mode back on the messages
disappear! We have tried the above article: 842284 without success. Yesterday
I experienced this problem first hand all of the sudden I stop receiving
emails, no errors messages or anything except for the sync messages which I
received one every minute from 3:05pm to about midnight. Today now it’s
working fine. Any clues to what is causing this?
