email folders in outlook

I file hundreds of emails a day, and in order to handle that volume I have
hundreds of folders and subfolders. How do I get outlook 2007 to remember
which folders I have collapsed vs expanded from session to session so that I
don't have to uncollapse all of my folders (in the CNTL-V window) after a
restart of outlook? I use a laptop so am constantly shutting it down and
powering it up (at least daily). The first time I try to file email after a
restart of outlook (using CNTL-V) all of my many folders are automatically
collapsed again - it's annoying to have to reopen them every time. Jeff

Outlook cannot remember which subfolders you have expanded. If you have
multiple data stores, it will remember which top levels are opened, provided
they're not IMAP data stores, but other than that, it won't.
