Email footer- how to change?

O

Owen Gilmore

Hi,

Every email is sent with this text. We definitely don't want users
downloading trial versions! How can one change that?

"Click the OneNote attachment if you want to view or edit the notes in
OneNote.
If you don't have OneNote 2007, you can click the second attachment to view
the notes as a Web page.

You can download a free OneNote trial version from:
http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidOneNoteTrial?clid=1033&ver=12&app=onenote.exe&p1=12"

Thanks,
Owen Gilmore

Check out Tools --> Options, Sending Email. You can change both this and how
the page is attached to your emails there.

If you are asking whether this can be changed via group policy, that I don't
know. I run on a single user system...:)

Hey, if it was that simple I'd have figured this out yesterday ;-)

Seriously though, the default message footer that appears in tools/options
is "Created with Microsoft Office OneNote 2007
One place for all your notes and information"

Which bears no resemblance to the message/link that appears when I send a
note in Outlook 2003.

Any other suggestions?

Just an FYI, I could not even get the default footer to appear, and if I
changed it to something different that also didn't appear in the email
message. Apparerently this part is broken or disabled.

Any idea why that would be?
Thanks!

What does bear a resemblance to the message/link that appears when you send
a note in Outlook 2003? :)
