email form/outlook 2003

I am using infopath 2007/Outlook 2007.

I was testing a form to send to a user to see if it was viewable by email.
The user is currently using Outlook 2003. They will be upgrading to 2007
very soon. The strange this was, when the form was sent to the user and i
got a reply back telling me yes they could see it but I saw Telephone icons
where the checkboxes were! I never put the icons there and how did it show
up there? Can anyone tell me what might have happened? thank you.
