Email forwarding to phone by rule...

I have set up a rule to forward incoming emails to my phone. However, it
doesn't work.

The icon changes to 'forwarded', but the email never arrives at my phone.

However, if I then manually forward it, it will arrive at my phone. The
problem is with the rule.

If I change the email address, to forward it to an internal email address at
my company, the rule works.

I have tried the format of (e-mail address removed), as well as
the format of (e-mail address removed), and neither of them work. And, again, if I
manually forward it to either of those addresses, it works correctly.

I have tried this for forwarding emails, as well as for forwarding calendar
events. Exactly the same results.

Any Ideas?

If you are using an exchange server the system administrator can turn
auto-forwarding off to addresses outside the organization. I would
contact your SA to see if this feature is turned off.
