Does anyone know what I can do to enable me to send an email document from
Office 2007 Home/Student edition? The email function is grayed out.
Thanks.

I don't think you can configure Word to be your Windows Mail editor. Send
your Word docs as attachments.

It is impossible to attach docs. I reported the same problem earlier. See

First - starting a new thread kind of confuses the matter but.........

Are the files you're trying to attach on your hard drive or some sort of
removeable media?

It seems you are actually having problems with your e-mail program. So,
perhaps the newsgroup for whatever e-mail program you are using would be
the place to ask.

Thanks to all respondents. I/ve been surfing for some sort of solution and
it seems like many people are having the same problem but nobody has yet
found a solution that truly works. My next step is to contact Dell
Techincal Support since I have paid for assistance and see if they have a
solution. I'll post back if I do. Thanks once more

You need a MAPI mail client. Thunderbird works AFAIK...
