Email Groups Tracking Invitee Responses . . .

R

Renegade

As a new user of 2003 Outlook, can anyone tell me when sending out
invitations to Group Members, is it necessary to expand out the list to
display members individually prior to sending the invitation in order for the
Tracking tab to display individual responses (acceptance, decline, or
tentative). Any assistance is appreciated.

What type of email account? If you have a POP3/IMAP account and the DL is
stored in your contacts it will be expanded when its sent. If its an
exchange acct and you are using a DL from the active directory, it is not
expanded when you send and as people accept or decline, they are added to
the response list.
