Email hangs up as it loads

I read the answers to similar problems but the fixes didn't help. When I first open Entourage to get my emails it hangs up when it gets to the email that is causing the problem. I can't do anything to access the email to get rid of it. This happened on Monday, its Thursday and it won't load any new emails just sits and spins. How can I get rid of the offending email if it won't load so I can trash it?

You can start Entourage from default settings - i.e. with Send & Receive All
schedule OFF (Manual only) - by holding down the Shift key at startup - like
"Extensions Off" when starting up your Mac. This allows Entourage to launch
without crashing in situations like this. You could then turn off Preview
Pane and check the server looking for the suspect message.

If you have POP accounts, you'd do it by using your Webmail account or use
Allow Online Access in the Options window of the account settings. Next,
select the server icon now appearing in the Folders List and turn off
Preview Pane.

If IMAP, Exchange or Hotmail just check your Inbox and folders affected with
Preview Pane turned off.

Sorry, I've been swamped and haven't had a chance to get back to this...
I tried holding down shift key at start up, doesn't help. As soon as Entrouge launches it loads 2 emails and then hangs up and just spins. I am unable to access any options or click on anything.
This happened once before but the email went into my spam folder and was deleted with in a couple of days. As long as it isn't in the window that opens when Entro launches I don't have a problem.
Also: I tried to network my G4 into my Mac Prolaptop and access from there (as the offending email doesn't hang up anywhere else-neither my comcast or entrouage on my 10.4 Mac OS on my laptop, just hangs on the G4 with OS10.3.9) it wouldn't let me open the version on entrouage on my G4 from my laptop.
Is there a folder I can go into on my G4 desktop/system where I can toss out the offending email? I don't want to uninstall and loose all the emails I have in Entrouage as I have some I need for my job.

I found my folders in my system and disabled the folder actions. Didn't do any good. Still hangs up (not crash) when it launches as it loads in the emails, when it gets to the bad one is sits and spins. I have a POP account.

Figured out how to fix this finally. I opened up my Font Book application and let it load up, left it open and then launched Entrouage and it loaded all the messages finally.
Where theres a will theres a way!!!
