I
iguana_joe
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange
I was moving Personal Folders from Entourage 2008 to the Inbox which is on an Exchange Server 2003 SP3.
This user wanted to use Outlook on a PC.
The emails and all of their multiple folders and sub-folders moved fine, but the Email headers all turned into this:
From: =?Windows-1252?B?TVJBVVNDSEVS?= instead of retaining the actual address.
But here's what I noticed about that, the original From email displayed like this: <TSMITH>
If it displayed like this: Smith, Tom it would carry over the address.
95% of the emails in those folders had addresses that were displayed like usernames: <TSMITH>.
Does anyone know why that would happen and is there a way to retain those addresses when the Personal Folders are transferred to the Exchange server?
Finding a solution would be a huge relief.
Thanks!
