Hi,
I run my own email server using Postfix. Everything has worked great
forever. However, my router went bad and there was an internet outage
AND Comcast's config file for my modem got corrupt.
Fun!
Anyhow, all is good and I get out (I'm posting, right?).
Problem is my email. I can use Squirrelmail from the outside to get
and read and send email. But, I cannot seem to get Outlook to see it
anymore. It says something about not being able to fund my POP3 and
SMTP server.
Nothing changed. Since the other router went bad I lost all my port
forwarding info, but I did forward ports 25 & 110 to the email
server......
Again, everything works fine from Squirrelmail.....but Outlook is
active messed up.
So, since Squirrelmail works, I can only assume my ports are
working........why can't outlook see the SMTP & POP3?
BTW: It is Vista 32 & Outlook 2007.....
Much Thanks!
