Email issue

I am trying to get my email function to work
automatically in Project Server. Can someone tell me
where I need to start? I have already configured the
email and notification set up on the Admin feature.
Also, I configured the Tracking, Notification and
Reminders feature. I have set the email reminders for
my resources and no luck. I have set the email to run at
a certain time everyday but the email feature will not
run. The only thing that works, is when I request a
notification myself.

Any help will be great.
