email line spacing

In Outlook 2003 I am not using WOrd as my email editor and double line
spacing appears everytime I hit ENTER. All NEW messages have PARAGRAPH (vs.
NORMAL) as the default under Tools -> Style. I want NORMAL to be the default.
How do I do that?
