I use Outlook 2003 SP2 running on Windows XP Professional.
When I am composing new email messages - in my default of Rich Text -
they suddenly revert to plain text, halfway through typing the
message. This also happens when replying to messages received in Rich
Text.
I do not use Word as the mail editor, and this happens to any and all
mail recipients - none are set up to receive mail in plain text. I use
AVG antivirus (which is currently not checking email), and Google
desktop is turned off in Outlook plugins because it was crashing the
program.
Sometimes, as soon as I press 'Send', you can see the message
momentarily convert to Plain Text just before it disappears.
Infuriating.
Any suggestions on fixing this behaviour would be gratefully
appreciated.
