Email messages appear blank

One computer, when receiving new messages will appear
blank in the message area. If you open them up several
more times they eventually will show the message. It
doesn't happen with all messages and the messages don't
usually have attachments or anything else special about
them. I've run a virus scan on the computer. The
computer has all office updates available. I ran a repair
on office just to make sure. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!
