Email not sending

T

treacle's mate

I am currently using Office 2003 proffesional
in MS outlook i have configured my email to send and recieve and it works
perfectly when at home, when away using a different connection only the
recieve works. I get a message saying that the message cannot be sent as the
operation timed out while waiting for a response from smtp server.
I know it is possible to send mail as other computers send email on the
conection using outlook 2003.
thanks for any help

You need to configure your Outlook to authenticate to the outgoing server
when using another internet connection rather than your own.
