I did a few quick tests to determine which type of schedule changes generated
which type of email notification, because I noticed that sometimes an email
notification included all tasks assigned to a resource (even the 100%) tasks
and sometimes the email only included a few new or changed assignments. What
I found was that when I moved incomplete work into the future using
“Reschedule Work†I received an email notification that included all
assignments including the ones from the past that are 100% complete. Adding
new tasks or new tasks with assignments that had an impact on existing tasks
only generated an email with those tasks and did not include the tasks that
were in the past or 100% complete.
So, my question is: Can I determine which email is triggered by the
“Reschedule Work†and modify just that one notification using the “How to:
Customize E-Mail for Project Server Notifications†TechNet article?
