email notification (not receving mails)

Hi friends,


Resources are not receving mails, when the status reports are sent
to them.

I dont get any error wehn i send a archived status report.

Am confused about this please help...

Also want to create a custom email notification

Want to send emails to the executives when the, when the plans are
published, please
guide me in this regard

Hi Ash,

there are several reasone why the resources dont receive an email. Firstly I
would check that an email is maintained for the users. If this is the case,
the users may have changed the email notification settings in PWA ( on the
home page). If htis is not the case, I would check the event log on your
application server.

In regards to customising an e-mail notification, unless you costum develop
this functionality, Project Server will not be able to accomodate for htis
out of the box.
