Email notification

To all:

I have a user who is not receiving email notifications for issues in Project
2002. I have verified that he has subscribed to email notifications. They
do receive notifications for tasks reminders. I can also invite the user
through the "Send An Invitation Wizard" . I have checked in the
MSP_Web_Notifications table and verified that their notification settings
are correct. Is there somewhere else I need to check? It looks like to the
mail is never being sent to the smtp server from Project server. Other
users work just fine. Any help would be gtreatly appreciated.
