Email Notifications have stopped

The email notifications that alert the project manager that a resource has
updated a task in the schedule have suddenly stopped after working for almost
a year. The notifications for library alerts are still working. Nothing has
been changed. Any suggestions where to start?

check that SMTP service is started on you Web Server that hosts Project
Server. Also if you use exchange, and disabled relay'ing this will cause it
to fail. You need to allow your exchange server to accept e-mail from
Project Server. Hope this helps

If you are using McAfee on your Project Server, open the VirusScan Console
and look for an Access Protection task associated with Port 25. We were
experiencing a similar problem before we added Project to the exclusion list
for an Access Protection task on Port 25 that was blocking outbound traffic.
