I have Project Server 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services set up in two
parallel environemnts at the moment. In E1 both the application and the
database are on the same box and email is being sent correctly. On E2, the
application is on one server and the database os on another server.
I have checked the settings on both servers and in the config database and
other than server name everything is set up exactly the same.
When I publish the project schedule everyhitng goes as planned except the
email. I still get the notificationon my Home Page that I have a new task.
E-mail notifications are turned on for immediate notice of new tasks. Both
servres are listed in the trusdted sites for IE.
SMTP is installed on both servers.
Can anyone help with what might be goingo n as I am Exchange illiterate and
don't understand why it works with E1 and not with E2.
Thanks,
Kevin
