Email Notifications on Complete Tasks

We are receiving notifications on tasks that are complete (Rem Work:
0h). See a portion of that email below:

Task Name: Determine where to get product for sales samples
Start: Dec 13 '05 Finish: Dec 13 '05 Work: 0h Rem Work: 0h

The only possibilities I can come up with are:

1. This was an old task brought over to Server when we went live.
Maybe there's a glitch with the task because of this? or

2. Maybe because Work is 0h, it doesn't recognize it as being a valid
task. Maybe it needs to be changed to 1h.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Sue,

If I understand this correctly, you have a task in the project file
that is complete ( 0 remaining hours), but it keeps sending emails to
the resource to update tasks.

I have seen this in the past. I think somehow the task gets corrupted,
out of sync with the server and my quick fix has been, cut the task
from the project file and paste it again in the file. This creates a
new task entry and deletes the old one. I then Republish the
assignments and overwrite actuals.
