email on site

I have created email links on my site as directed by frontpage 2003. I get
an error message 'Could not perform this operation because the default mail
client is not properly installed.' What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. You must have a email application set as a default for the browser you are using. This
applies to your site visitors as well.

This is why it is best to use a form that is then process via server-side scripting.
