email PIN

I work for the DOD and when we visit certain official websites, we must enter
a 4 digit PIN to verify our identity. This goes the same when sending email,
however you are not asked for a PIN every time, just randomly. I know this is
probably unique to our network but I was wondering if there was a way to make
it so you are asked for a PIN (either the same one we use or one set up
through outlook) every time you send an email so that no one can send emails
from your account if you step out for a moment.

That would be a question for your IT department.

Windows key + L should always be used when you step away from your computer,
especially in a secure environment such as you work in.

what version of windows do you use? It should lock the computer. If not,
you need to find the shortcut that locks you computer and use it when you
are away from the computer.
