email program

Frustrated and PO'd

My email program has always been Outlook Express.
All of a sudden email is being received randomly in OE and Outlook. I want
to stop email from going to Outlook and use Outlook Express exclusively.
Help!
Note: Using Windows 98, Office Pro 97, Outlook Express 6.0,
Outlook 98.
