Is there some setting that a recipient might have, that could prevent them
from viewing tracked changes, above and beyond simply turning Tracked Changes
on and turning View Markup on?
I emailed a doc with tracked changes to a colleague; she says it opens OK
and she has Tracked Changes turned on and has View Markup turned on, but my
doc doesn't show her any of my tracked changes in the right margin...however
in the right margin it DOES show a couple of comments I made during my edit
session.
Also, some changes I made in the text appear for her, but others don't. For
example, I moved a sentence up to the start of a paragraph; her version shows
the new sentence in correct position but wierdly, also still shows the
sentence in its old position, too.
I can email the same doc to myself and it works fine, and the same doc
posted on a server can be opened by others and the tracked changes appear OK
for them.
