On occasion, and I cannot isolate what might cause this, an email I have sent
or opened and read, will still remain in the taskbar even though I have
closed it or deleted it or moved it to another folder. If I expand the
Outlook "bar" in the taskbar which shows what is open in Outlook and select
the email, and then right click to bring up the Restore, Move, Size,
Minimize, Maximize, Close window, the selections which are not grayed out are
"Restore," "Minimize," and "Close" BUT I cannot do anything with these
selections. For example, if I select Close, nothing happens. The email
remains in the Outlook expanded bar, but it's not open anywhere onscreen.
The only way I can get rid of it on the taskbar is to close down Outlook.
Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help you can offer.
