Email replies

How do you remove the feature or turn off when:

you reply to an email but as you type in text...when you
make a mistake and corect it the letters keep
dissappering...using up spaces. It's probaly the MOST
frustrating thing about outlook.

Overstrike? Hit the Insert key on the keyboard. It's not an Outlook feature
per se.
