I have used Outlook (Windows XP) for quite some time with no difficulties
with DSL access to verizon.net.
Recently another person and I each can no longer connect to
outgoing.verizon.net via SMTP; we get an error saying to "Check your email
address" when we try to send a sample test message via the Test option on
the Outlook email setup page.
Verizon says this is not an issue with their system but instead relates to
Outlook. How could that be if this stopped working abruptly and I did not
change any settings?
