I have just started using Outlook instead of OE. I can't seem to make it
play a sound or notify me on my desktop when I receive new email. I have
tried both going through the control panel->sound/speech/audio devices and
also checked the "play a sound", "briefly change the mouse cursor", "display
a new mail desktop alert" and "show and envelope icon in the notification
area" in the Advanced Email Options tab in Outlook. I still get no sounds,
changes in cursors, or notification icons. How can I get my sounds and
desktop alerts like I once had in OE?
