email thread

Does anyone know of a utility to resort an email thread that has been going
back and forth for some time where by you have the first email at the bottom
and latest at the top. Say for example you wanted to print it or send it to
someone else and have it appear in the order that it started?

Thanks however that one seems to be targeted toward a group of emails. In my
case I have been forwarded an email with a long thread of emails in it and I
was hoping to sort that one email. This seems to happen to me quite often so
this is more than a one off.
Hope that clarifies

You have ONE e-mail in which its body (or an attachment) contains a
long SINGLE document (and which happens to have parts within it that
show multiple e-mails). Okay, but just how is Outlook going to do
anything inside a single document to re-sort anything inside of it?
Those "e-mails" within the document are no different than if you
spliced together a bunch of sales receipts from multiple stores. They
are NOT e-mails to Outlook any more, just text inside a document.

You will have to slice apart the document and take each e-mail within
it to put into some other program, like maybe making them documents in
cells in an Excel table where you can then sort on a substring in the
Date field to reorder those individual cells. A pivot table comes to
mind but it's been a decade, or more, since I used Excel to know what
to do with it anymore besides basic stuff.
