Email to SharePoint List

Is there any way to create an e-mail form that, once submitted,
"sends" to a SharePoint custom list? I have a secure SharePoint list
that I have to control access to (this is on the server, not the
site), but a group of users outside of the protective circle that need
to contribute list items.

I would check in linking a List to an exchange public folder.

Then email which come in will be displayed in the list. If these users are
outside the company then that is probably the only option.

If they are internal users then you would need to give them access to the
list so that either direclty or via a form they could add items.
Or you would need a list for them and then some additional process that
moved them to the secure list.

Thanks for the response. My concern isn't so much giving this group
access to *see* what's in the list (as I imagine the public folder
option would provide), but to *write* to the list -- even if that
means once submitted it becomes out of sight. Does linking to the
public folder also publish to a list on submit?
