email .xls and .doc files from work to my home

[Unable to email files from work to home]

I am using XP HE and Outlook 2000; can't email .xls and .doc files from work
to home. Can't understand why; any ideas? Using TrendMicro anti-virus too.
Can't turn off the firewall or the virus software won't work. Any ideas?

Have you tried ZIPping the files before sending them?

Hello Vince - thank you for taking the time to respond. At one point I was
able to send files back and forth, then I got a new computer and added the
new anti-virus software. I used to simply stop the firewall with Norton,
then send files back and forth. Now if I try to disconnect the firewall thru
TrendMicro, it warns me that the antivirus is also shut off.

I could try .zip file suggestion, but I just wanted the convenience of
working on forms and reports at home again. I have also copied to a CD.
