Emailed forms don't render correctly

I have an infopath form that when emailed, does not render or format
correctly at all. I am using Infopath 2007 and tried both Outlook 2003 and
2007.

The table I am using is a basic repeating table. Inside columns, I have
some logic to show/hide certain things based upon selections in a dropdown
list.

The table renders MUCH too wide. It shows up fine both within Infopath and
the web browser (Sharepoint). Certain columns show MUCH too wide even for
the content inside of them (a date column for example, has a simple date
control but there is a LOT of whitespace after the control - making the
column really wide).

This makes the emailed form unreadable, and hence - unusable to staff. What
is wrong here? Why does the form render correctly in the broswer, but not
Outlook? Is there anything I can do to the form to make it stop doing this?

I have it nailed down a little more:
This only occurs when the form is sent from Forms Services in Sharepoint.
Sending the form directly from the InfoPath Application's preview mode
renders the email correctly.
I also have found that the Date control might have something to do with it.
I have created a VERY basic form:
1 repeating table
3 columns - 2 are text, 1 is date
....the emailed form does not render correctly (the column for the Date is
stretch WAY too wide)
3 columns - 3 are text
....the emailed form renders just fine.

What is wrong with the Date control? Why does it render incorrectly when
emailed from Sharepoint?
