Emailing a calender

I am very much a novice and have problems emailing a copy
of a calender, will either not open when sent or be empty
have tried changing the extention and all sorts, please
advise in easy steps!!

How are you trying to open it, one way to do it is to export the Calendar to
a pst file and them open it with Outlook using the File Open command,
another way is to export it to a CSV or Excel document and then open with
Excel or import back into Outlook. Note the import/export command is located
on Outlook File menu
