Emailing a report

Hi Guys,

I have created a small simple defect loging database. I have a report in
this database based on a query to simply allow me to select the dates of the
defects i wish to see. Once I run the reports for a specific date and get the
desired information I need to send that report in an email. I was wondering
if anyone could tell me how I would do this.

I was playing around with the hyper-link control and adding the email
address to the control but when I press the contol it simply opens a blank
email to that email address in outlook but the report is not attached.

Is there a way to change the settings on the control so that when it opens
the blank email the report is attached?

Did you ever use the Access help screens?
You use the SendObject command
Look up "Automate sending a report snapshot in e-mail"
You will be amazed at the knowledge hidden in the Access help system.
