Emailing a word doc. When opened, don't want the spell/grammar ch

I am using Word 2000. I'm sending a word doc as an attachment to someone.
When they open it, I don't want all the squiggly lines that note grammar
check/spell check. I'm using a bunch of fragments intentionally and it just
looks weird. Is there some type of macro that I can install in the document
so that whatever version of word they are using (assuming it's either word
2000 or a more recent version), the grammar check will not be displayed?

Don't send Word documents with macros in them: every virus checker around
will spit chips, for obvious reasons. Simpler is to select the content and
set the language to "do not check spelling or grammar"

You can also check the boxes for "Hide spelling errors in this document" and
"Hide grammatical errors in this document" on the Spelling & Grammar tab of
Tools | Options. This prevents "Check spelling/grammar as you type" from
marking the errors, but you can still run the spelling/grammar check
manually if desired.
