Emailing Forms with Drop Down Boxes

When I email forms in Microsoft Outlook that I've created in Word that
contain drop down boxes the drop down boxes disappear when the recipient
receives the email. How do I send a form that contains drop down boxes in
Microsoft Outlook so that the boxes won't disappear?

You don't. Outlook + Word can't do that. Depending on who the audience for this form is, you might want to take a look at Microsoft InfoPath.

I was having the same problems and installed InfoPath. I created a form but
the same thing happens when I email the form. It shows up correctly when you
open the email but when you reply to the email the formatting disappears. I
don't know if I am doing something wrong in InfoPath, but I have been
struggling with this for 2 weeks now.

Generally, you don't reply to an InfoPath form. You use the Submit button on the form. I'm sure an InfoPath newsgroup can provide more guidance.

Sue,

I'm not familiar totally with InfoPath. If we used it to create the forms.
Then would all the users have to have it installed on their machine to view
the forms??? Or do you use use InfoPath to create them and just just Outlook
to send the forms? How does InfoPath and Outlook work together.

That depends on the version of InfoPath and just how you're using it. (There is more than one approach.) Again, I'd suggest that you take this topic to an InfoPath group.

Thanks Sue I appreciate the help. I'm now going to cross-post this discussion
with the InfoPath Group.

Thanks Again,

Bobbie
