Emailing from Word Using VBA - Mail System Error

S

Sonny Maou

I'm using Astrid Zeelenberg's email-from-Word-using-VBA code (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/InterDev/SendMail.htm). I'm trying it in Word
2000 with Windows 2000. It's not working.

The following line

ActiveDocument.HasRoutingSlip = True

gives the following error:

General mail failure. Close Microsoft Word, restart the mail system,
and try again.

I use Mozilla Mail.

I did try closing Microsoft Word, but I don't understand what it means
to "restart the mail system."

Any ideas on how to get email sent from my template?

Hi Sonny,

I have no idea what you might have to do to get that to work with Mozilla.
I know that it does work with Outlook/Outlook Express
