emailing merge document

i have a merged document that i want to email out, the
problem is when someone tries to open it, they get a
message that it cant find the data source. so i've been
mergin to new document then send the email. i tried
creating a macro to merge to a new document then email but
it always ask me to save the doc first which i dont want
to is there anyway to do this?

Hi Dan,

You unfortunately don't mention which version of Word you
have, but all recent (since 1995 or so) versions can merge
directly to email. You need to look for that option...
