Emailing Newsletter

I have designed a one page newsletter in Publisher. When I email it to myself
it looks great. When I send it to other people from publisher is moves
everything around and out of place. How do I fix this?

My boss does not want to use a PDF. They want it to be in the message part of
the email

And I'd like to be a size 6 by tomorrow. It ain't gonna happen.

Seriously, you can only control so much. Once you email me something, *my*
settings override your boss's wishes.

Save the publication as an image, select the email message type as an HTML,
insert the image. If your recipients have disabled HTML email - the image will
be an attachment. As JoAnn said, you can't control how your recipients have
their emails setup to do.

I'd give up controlling how others see my emails if I *could* wear a size 6
by tomorrow. But then again, I'd have to try to find a dress for a 2 pm
wedding. Maybe it's best that I hold that wish until Sunday...

Tell your boss that he is an idiot and sending crap as he suggests will
tick off a lot of people, that others won't see it (because of their
settings) and that before he instructs people how he wants things done
he ought to investigate the possibilities.

Oh, and send out resumes before you do this. And buy him a Dilbert book.

JoAnn,

But I meant every word of it. Okay, so I have been dealing with a Pointy
Headed Owner for a couple of days and am not in a friendly mood. This
guy wants to charge me $200+ more than the price sheet says. He says he
will drop the printing charge (which where the difference is) but add in
a bindery fee and tack on an extra delivery fee. It's like "go find a
different fool, idiot. I'm not paying, period."

He's going to lose a $40,000/yr. account, on top of other ones he has
lost in the past year.

I guess I could have been nicer and suggested the poster offer a chance
to sign up for a newsletter and pick the way they want to receive the
offering. But in all honesty, there really are not too many people
posting in this section of Pub (as opposed to the Web Design section)
that have a clue what php or asp are.

I'm really sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your printer.
You've always had good things to say about his abilities, IIRC.

It was just funny hearing you respond the way I sometimes do when I'm a bit
frustrated. (I've been behaving lately tho. Too tired to fight - I just hit
the delete key these days.)
