Emailing reports

This is in response to JulieS suggestion..." reports in MS Project are
printable only. However, if you have a
program which creates pdf files, you could "print" the report to the pdf
program, creating a pdf file and email that."

User does have Adobe Acrobat 8 but when she tries to print a report to PDF
the only printer selection is her default network printer. No other
printers, including her PDF printer are available in the drop down. We tried
selecting PDF printer as the default and printing reports again but once
again only the network printer was available.

Thanks for any help

MS,

What version of Project (including service pack) are you using? I can
select any printer to print to from the File > Print dialog box. You
cannot select printers from the print preview screen.

Hello MS,

I just did a quick test using Project 2003 SP-2 and PDFCreator. (Like
Adobe PDF Creator installs a printer driver that is used to create PDF
files.)

I selected the PDFCreator printer through File > Print and then
cancelled the Print dialog box.

I then displayed a report through View > Reports. From the print
preview window, the PDFCreator printer was selected and I could print
the report to it.

I hope this helps.

Do you have MS Project Professional installed on your home computer? You
need the desktop client to be able to open and edit project files.
